The City of Groveton would like to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences during this time of sorrow.  Honorable Mayor, Byron Richards, was a humble man who was very dedicated and passionate about making Groveton a better community.  He was also a religious man who loved God, his wife Mrs. Sandy Richards, his children and grandchildren very much.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
